I Would Like To Know If Anyone Knows How To Raise A Lowered Immune System.

I have a medical problem that is not being cleared up with antibiotics and the doctor doesn't want me to continue on them as I may need them in the winter for other problems. He has said that it is because I have a low immune system and has suggested some different vitamins and supplements. Have any of you tried anything and did it work.

Good morning @A MyCOPDTeam Member. I take a full regiment of vitamins, including Echinacea. I pay close attention to keeping my hands washed. I also stay away from people that have colds, etc. I exercise at least 3 times a week at my local wellness gym. I am studying natural herbs for help with this yuck. I am not there yet but I will let ya'll know if I find anything helpful.
The best thing for me was pulmonary rehab! They taught me to better understand what is and was happening to me.
Peace,Love,and Grace my friend.

Oral inhalers, and prednisone, rob your body, by making your immune system week !!!
I take AZITHROMYCIN, 3 x a week, mondays, wednesdas, and fridays. No need to be on anything else, and am doing great. Almost never even catch a cold ! Been taking it for near 3 years, i have gotten sick ONCE. I do take vit. supplements too, D3, E, B's, lots of C. And i'm loving life....oh, and i add in lots of God !
