Drink at least 2 litres of fluid a day. Not ciffee or soda. Drink throughout the day it is ni good making up for it at night. Helos a lot and stops cramps. Also improves complexion! Your urine should always be very pale after maybe first thing in the morning. Also necessary fir my heart failure.
Exercise too. It is important to get breathless exercising most days so don't panic. Remember controllered breathing. Hope this helps folks. Niggt from a rather wet and chilly Bakewell, England. Not usual weather for this time of the year!x

I also have Aspergilliis and the fungal balls Aspergillous which are in both top lobes of my lungs. Am on Voriconazole and have been since September of 2015. Was considered for lung transplant, but due to the fungus I do not qualify. Looked also into lung reduction, but the surgeon said the Aspergillius had caused my upper lobes to adhere to my chest wall (ugh). He said it would talke a hammer and chisel to get them out and it would just be to risky.

I would like to add you to my team since we both have this infection. I keep asking how long I have to continue with the medication, but none of the Dr's seem to have and answer. May be on it for the rest of my life. What do they have you on?

I hope you will add me to your team as well.

It's not nice and usually requires several different antibiotics and a long time on them to get over it. It also does additional damage to the lungs and you can't fix that damage or get around it in any way.

Angela McKee, added you to my team, please add me too. Alice123, I think you two are very brave, I was told that it can lay dormant til something triggers it & if it is attached to the chest wall they can't get it. It is air borne & we breathe the spores inside & outdoors all the time, it is in the soil...most times it does not cause problems til our immune system is compromised so it may not be medical fault but our own lungs inability to get rid of it. It can attack our nose & throat, yikes, there is a fungus among us LOL. will stay in touch, life changing!!!! Love & hugs
