Burning Leaves Does It Bother You When You Have COPD

Just wanted everyone's opinion. Does burning leaves bother you with COPD worse. What do you think about wo o d burner stoves. Why were at it can we sit around and fire at night. Just wondering.

Many people can't manage certain odors, and smoke can do additional damage to our lungs by irritating them to the point where we get an exacerbation. Some people don't have problems with smoke but it can do damage if you're not careful.

BBQ grills
Fires
Some things my husband cooks on the stove
Perfume
Cleaning products
Soaps

Yes it does. My parents heated their home with wood and myself and daughter always got sick when we were there (my mother said we were just putting on airs) whatever that means. Pretty much anything that burns.

Can't do smoke of any kind.....I will usually end up in the hospital...no more sitting around camp fires for me

I have to agree with Star, almost everything bothers me. but burning leaves is not one of them, no leaf burning in our township....but the wood burners around me if i am sitting out that will bother me and inside i go....
