I have had a lot of this in the past but it has been quite a while since I got sick from the coughing and such, all I can say is Mucinex DM, use the machine more at these times, try a humidifier or vaporizer in your room to see if it helps break up the phlegm, try to stay calm (I know how hard that is, but try) and do the best you can to get through it. As you learn more about what actually works for you, it will hopefully make it all better for you. We do know what you're going through and out thoughts and prayers are now gonna double for you. We have them in our home they seem to help the quality of air in the home and having plants is very good as it lowers the amount of carbon dioxide and boosts the amount of oxygen in the air.
