Oxygen Therepy

A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭
Decatur, IL

I currently use liquid oxygen at home and I have about a 5 hour travel tank for going out. It works the best for me and does not require any elecrticity! I also have a POC with batteries and can plug in. Its big and bulky and hard to pull around! What do you all use and what works best for you???

@RobinSpadeTaylorDahm, I hear what your saying Robin, I always get a shopping cart for the exact same reason as you. Most item of clothing I have has pockets, that way I can put essentials in my pockets and not a carry a purse, just oxygen, because, it is heavy.

When you cant breathe its hard to even tote the oxygen you need! I have to shop at places that have carts to hold my poc and purse and also to lean on! I know people think I am lazy, but I always leave my shopping cart by the disabled parking for others to use without walking to get one. I know I appreciate it when there is a cart right there!

I am on oxygen 24/7 I use the big floor model at home it will go all over my house and I have a carry tank that is an 8 our task that I can carry in my hand or it has a pouch I can hold it on my shoulder. The tank has both free flow constant air or I cN switch to pulse which you can hear every time I take a breath

I have a portable Simplygo mini, they say it is 5 pounds, but once you put the battery in its 10. It is a lot easier for me though. I plan on getting a backpack as it is easier to carry.
