Thank you all for the help. It has happened twice and I was a little concerned, first time it was bad and lasted about 45 minutes... 2 time was not as heavy and lasted around 15 minutes. We also monitor my blood pressure during the episodes, since I also take medication for that. But again thank you for the help. I will keep an eye on it and talk with my doctor about it too.

Hi I also have nose bleeds, this is caused by the medicine that we take as it thins our skin. Try to sit up straight with your head slightly forward and pinch your nose just at the bridge of your eyes until the bleeding stops.
If you need to clean your nose you can buy a Salex pack at your pharmacy. This helps keep your nose nice and clean

yes I have nose bleeds and wake up with dry blood clots in my nostrils. for the first time it happened I was coughing up phlem and it was in it scared the day lights out of me but it was from draining down my throat at night it . it just started all of a sudden.I use ocean it's a spray from drug store.

Check with your Doctor, you may be on blood thinners that could be causing them. I have trouble with them but I seem to have trouble with just the aspirin a day for a blood thinner

I use Ocean Saline Nasal Spray. My doctor recommended it or and ancient honey pot.
