Lots of luck to you both......will be very interested to hear how you go, as I'm hoping I might qualify for the same procedure.

I am staying n hospital for 3 days after the procedure because I live about 40 miles away from where they are doing this, so that I can be on hand if this does happen. My Consultant has told me if you get pneumothorax it usually happens on the day or up to 3 days after. Will let you know what is said at my pre op next week.

Hi John, I have received a new date for my BLVR, it's Tuesday 3rd November. They haven't given me much time to think about it.

Personally I would not let that concern me too much Jean , the skill factor of the specialists is outstanding , what in life Is risk free ? ~ you will I am sure do well , thoughts are with you .
