Does Copd Cause Chest Pain

I thought I was having a heart attack very heavy chest & pain comes and goes. What is Barrel Chest?

COPD itself doesn't cause chest pain. Lots of other things do, including pleurisy, pleural effusions, coughing, pulled muscles, broken ribs and any of those can be in conjunction with COPD.

A barrel chest is associated with especially elongated and expanded lungs and sometimes is developed by people who have COPD.

I sometimes get pains only on my right side so yes I know I have been worried about having a heart attack sometimes but if I take my meds it helps a lot. Am taking Advair and if I remember to take it every day I do just fine
