I am also on a high dosage of Vitamin D. I also bought me a twin electric blanket so when I am sitting in my chair I have it on. It keeps me warm a toasty and I have found I can even turn down the furnace. I has helped me so much to stay warm.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member I do not know much about oils but if you use face book, there is a lady who is thoroughly knowledgeable about all the oils and knows which to use for so many problems. This is not a commercial site but a good family oriented site. She is very helpful. Bridgett Conway Mason , The Witch's Ranch Homestead. Cheers, Ceridwen.

I have just the opposite problem. I am hot all the time. I can go out in 40 degree weather and feel no need for a coat. I sweat when I get to doing any kind of house work, getting dressed, playing with the dog. I have talked with my pulmonary dr. about it and he said it is not due to COPD. Talked to my family dr. and he said it must be hormones and to talk to my GYN. At the time I worked for my GYN and she said it could not be hormonal because I am too old. Ever heard of Catch 22? That is how I feel. I KNOW it is because of the COPD because before I got it my house was usually to warm for my friends. I think I will start doing some research on this subject. We probably can't change anything, but we may find out why. Take care and remember to breath deeply.
