Is There A Difference Between Using A Metered Dose & A Dry Powder Inhaler?
Not sure I know what the difference is, all my inhalers have metered doses, rescue inhaler and dry powder inhaler. I use Spiriva respimat, and seravant, one is a mist and the other dry power inhaler. To me they all do what they are meant for, so not much help with this question. I do think the Spiriva mist works better than the dry Spiriva .
They are all dry powder now. I don't like the dry powder inhaler. I used to use Combivent inhaler, they quit making it and iit was replaced with Combivent Respimat, a dry powder inhaler. I also use Advair, which is a dry powder. You can't really tell it is a powder when you inhale it. Most of the time it feels like you haven't inhaled anything. My doctor told me that all of his patients who were on. the original Combivent complained that the powder did not work as well. Sure wish I could find a supplier that has a big supply of Combivent left and willing to sell it.
Hi Janie
Sorry to hear your on stage 4. I am also on stage 4 and no its not the end. Exercise is important and if you smoke you must give up. I was diagnosed stage 4, six years ago and may have been stage 4 longer, and I am sure some people will have been stage 4 a lot longer. I found that a 8 week course on rehab answered all my questions and helped me remain positive and active.
I would like to ask if anyone has tried Cannibus Oil? A friend f mine told me her friend had COPD and she got better. Apparently you put one small drop on your tongue and rub a little on your chest before you go to bed. I am going to try it but was just wondering if any of you have tried it?
Thanks and smile and be happy xxx
