Larry's got the right idea. First I'd take the disk back to the pharmacy where you got it and ask the pharmacist to check to be sure it's a full one. If it is, then don't take it for a week or so and see what happens. You'll know soon enough it it's working or not. Remember it's a maintenance med, and you're not supposed to feel different after you take it. It's doesn't have an immediate effect because it's not supposed to.

I use Advair spray and I found that I really have to shake it long and hard before I use it. Otherwise I don['t feel like I'm getting any.

Yes, Advair is a powdery mist which when inhaled, it leaves you wondering if you inhaled the dosage. I went through this when I first started Advair. Lol. I thought I received an empty container. šŸ˜‚. Breo is another inhaler that is a powdery type mist. Iā€™m sure there are even more. Just a little footnote I read in the phamphlet....after inhaling your dosage, rinse your mouth or brush your teeth. Hoping you have a wonderful breathing day. šŸ‘
