Hi Reba. Your report DOES say all it can about your Respiratory condition. BUT that is only half the picture when it comes to breathing. Shortness of Breath (SOB) can also be caused by underlying heart conditions.

Your episodes are sporadic, without any apparent trigger. Dyspnea - at its worst - would be a REAL struggle to "Catch your next Breath"!
See here:
https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/symptoms/...
Your number on the "finger- thingy" would be in mid- to low 80's - QUICKLY! You do have one, don't you?🤔

Everything else fits. As a ( former? I hope non- ) smoker, the EMPHY changes would easily show on a CT scan ( but not an X-ray 😎). That's what the labels on the Ciggy packs said.
Plus, Your PFTs are all over the 85%+ mark - 👍🌟. That is WONDERFUL! I still have NON- and Never-smoking friends who would kill for that number just based on the races I HAVE been through!!! 🤕🤬😎

RELAX. Hopefully your Doc has already mentioned having a Healthy Heart Scan done. That will give you a baseline of what to keep an eye on while you learn tips and tricks on how to prevent that Ol' SOB from sneaking up on you when you do things like making a bathroom run. Did I mention that SOB could also be the cause of why you feel the need to GO so often?

be Well . . and Well Prepared. 🏁 🏎️ 🏁

Says I don't have it...but ct shows it. Primary Dr gave symbicort and albuterol ehalers so I don't understand why he would do that if I don't. Don't make sense to me

@A MyCOPDTeam Member Indeed, your Pulmonary Function Test is really OK.👍 What is your Primary care Dr is saying? It doesn't show on your question.
