Hi Shar. GAD is one thing and the meds are too complicated for me to understand. My ANXIETY only began with COPD and were all SOB (Shortness of Breath) related. Once I realized I was at home and the safest place to be, I exerted myself to find my limits. Slowly over time this built up a stronger confidence to go out in public more confidently. Still have to thing about all the "What IFs" in between.

Not discounting stuff in your Q? that wasn't said, but those meds and that Exam chair is not one I want to sit in. Your DOC can explain more about how depressants can probably hurt our Respiratory condition more than help with something else which can be dealt with in many other ways.

Well I tried to get off some meds I was on Qutipine for awhile for depression they slowly took me off of that . They tell me I have been on the colazapam to long that to take me off could kill me now that freaked me out why would they put me on it in the first place. Then the put me on some weird name stuff . See I have lung problems badly but they worry more about my depression and trauma from my childhood so they think then the main route of the problem. I told them the last time no more meds.
