Could Anyone Who Uses A One-side Cannula Like The Oxybreather Or One Of The Others Has Had Really Good Experience With It Staying In Place.
The only reason this is something I want to wear is I am a jewelry designer and
want to wear necklaces and pendants I have made or bought when I go out.
I have things I love and can't find a way to get them to look okay with the standard cannula I usually wear. Vanity yes but more like a part of my history and pride in something it took a lot of work and classes to be able to do, and I love to be able to wear my own designs.
When using my POC it's a lot more moving around and getting in and… read more
I don't know about that. But you could run the cannula from the back of your head, over your ears to your nose. [Maybe] Think I have seen with Lisa they do it and use an elastic strap to hold it in place behind the head.
To be thinking out of the box as another idea; could you incorporate or somehow add your jewelry to/with the cannula? Just saying because you're not the only woman that wears jewelry and uses oxygen. That is a whole untapped list of clientele.
Sorry I have duallies
Thanks @A MyCOPDTeam Member just yesterday I tried it backward with a clip to the back to my shirt, and it is pretty good. I'm actually wondering where I think I'm going, to add a necklace with what I'm wearing.
Ali e Rose, thx for answers about clip. I would like to try the oxybreather but wear glasses & hearing aids so wonder if earpiece could handle all that. I am on ox 24/7 but am pretty active, using personal concentrator to go out.
The problem with the glasses I have year-round allergies and wouldn't easily be able to talk them off or down to blow my nose 87 times a day ☹️
Maybe I will try the Oxy-breather again and @A MyCOPDTeam Member I would love to invent one that is more stable and even better. Medline is here in Lathrop maybe I should suggest they try to develop one. As you can see here I don't see a lot of women being interested in one.
