Does Anyone Find That Using Swivel Connectors Between 2 Lengths Of Tubing Causes The Tubing To Coil And Tangle?
I have to connect 2 25' lengths of tubing to go from one end of my house to another, but it starts out fairly smooth but then starts coiling and tangling and ends up a tangled mess. It's going to be hard to smooth out now, but if I can I might try taping over the swivel connector and see if that helps.
@A MyCOPDTeam Member and Debra8 - I use a 50'. Usually not too bad when first opened. I've had this one on for quite some time and it's starting to become a real pain in the @A MyCOPDTeam Member! Hubby wants me to try the 2 25s again but I remember when we did try that - it didn't work well. When mine gets a crease I use my fingers on the crease to round it out then wrap with scotch tape. I do wish all on O2 good luck with whatever tube/tubes you try and if you find a magic solution - share it!! 😉
Happens to me with electrical cords all the time.I even made up a word for it "cordation".lolol hugs Frank
@A MyCOPDTeam Member I find if I take the hose out days before i'm going to change it, stretch it out straight and leave it there, in a day or so it's pretty straight.
Whenever you get a lot of coiling take section and pull to stretch out. This also is good for when you coiling gets a crease in it.
This is sooo funny when you really think about it. We all nee a laugh as we get older and nby ourselves more often laughs seem hard to come by. I use a 7ft. cannula a 25 ft and another 7 ft hose at the concentrato downstairs and change it out to a 50 ft to go upstairs. I get the connector caught on door frame, door, stools at counter or whatever. The other day i took hold to flip it to get unhung. I have my 2 little 5 lb fur babies and just so happens little maltese following me and just as i flipped she had to jump it. Tried to get both of them to play jumprope instead of getting mad because of the hose.
