I've taken them but really dislike the feelings I get can't sleep and affect my moods not for the better. Only take them when I really need to it's usually 8 tablets every morning ,help big time when I have a flare up though

I am on 2.5MG every other day right now, and for the past 2 months. I have gained 50 lbs and still gaining by the way it looks with every doctors visit.

Yes FrankDebelak, I am on prednisone as a maintenance dose every other day now. Was taking a high dose daily 7months ago. Weened down to a lower dose 2 months ago.
It is not something good to be on long term.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member Yes I've been taking Prednisone but ONLY when exacerbation (requiring hospitalisation) and very short term (some days).

I take 2.5mg prednisone daily, and I wish I could gain some weight I gain 2 or 3 lbs. Then turn around and lose it not sure why, right now I'm at 98lbs. Can't get above 102
