Does Anyone Use The Herz P1 Ring Or The Vital Health Ring For Monitoring Their 02 Rate And Other Health Information.

I know @A MyCOPDTeam Member has a different one she recommends, but this one is being offered for 1/2 the cost and actually is more likely to fit on my finger, since I can't wear the larger ones on my thumb. Consumer reports rates them really high and says they work really well for 02, BP, heart rate and other things as well. They are read on your phone and look like a good option.

Nope, @A MyCOPDTeam Member. She just may not feel like talking, and may just be reading posts and leaving.

The holidays certainly bring our losses home to roost for those missing family or taking stock of their days spent without family, so I think it’s important to accept that now is not working for her for conversation.

Lots of people are very emotionally exhausted or fragile this time of year, and she may just not have the bandwidth to reply. Going walkabout from time to time is pretty common for lots of site members. Hopefully, she’ll reply when she feels up to it.

Take care of you. Hugs.

I also never heard of these rings, @A MyCOPDTeam Member, and am researching them now.

I agree, the bulky design is a pain, however, there are two size-sensing prongs on the inner band of the SP02 ring to enable one to use it on any size finger (man or woman) and a child’s version to cover medical needs on tiny fingers.

I was looking at a write-up from November 1st, and like everything about the slim band, the Oura - except for its price - so I’m still looking to see if I will replace my current ox sat ring with something less noticeable and obtrusive. I also need something that will run continuously for longer times, and at 6 days wear average for recording life, I’m leaning toward the Oura. It was silent on FDA approval. It was silent on waterproofing stamina for continuous wear. It’s pricey ($399 plus $7 a month for reports - $70 a year). So, as my SP02 ring is reaching the end of it’s useful life, I’m glad you posted about this topic as I, too, am thinking of making a switch.

My ring is now about 2 years old, and no longer records for up to 10 hours of wear. It’s quitting around 6 hours on a busy day, never mind a high alarm day, and that’s no longer good enough for me as there appear to be many more alternatives on the market.

Thanks for bringing up this topic. Now, back to research for me, LOL.

Sadly, while the Oura 4th generation ring looks excellent overall, it’s NOT FDA approved for continuous oxygen saturation monitoring, @A MyCOPDTeam Member.

I’ve tried to find the Herz P1 ring, and I’m not finding it. Frustrating, but I’ll keep looking…

I never did either. I just have a pulse oximeter, which I hardly use now that I'm on O2 all the time.
