My 2nd insertion procedure is functioning well so far. Although I'm on 02 a good deal of the time I'm having more days of near pre-COPD symptoms. Normal breathing without SOB and less fatigue.

Thank you for the info. Please keep me updated. I am going through tests for pre-qualification. Have also been referred for a lung transplant at Cleveland Clinic.

I did an informal poll last year (use the search feature with the word ‘zephyr’) and you should be able to find it online. To summarize my results at that time:

Zephyr valves results (informal survey)

- couldn’t pass pre-insertion qualification testing

While this is “stale” info, it gives you a place to start if you don’t want to search yourself. My informal results were indicating it has about a 33% success rate, with 33% not a good fit, and 33% having to have them removed due to breathing difficulties.
