Is My COPD The Reason I Am Tired All The Time?
Water is my number one comment and as always, I forget to drink it. 🤣
Hello Kay. Even before my Respiratory diagnosis, I often felt fatigued at Work or at Rest. Our bodies must work a bit harder to keep Oxygen circulating around - even if we're not huffing and puffing.
Much later I would learn that being deHydrated has a lot to do with this process also and is a KEY sign when we truly are Short of Breath (SOB). Some symptoms even mimick being low on oxygen. See here:

Besides, water has extra Oxygen in it and IS good for US. Besides breathing, it's the only way to get more oxygen INTO the body.
be Well
Hi @A MyCOPDTeam Member
I too have been extremely tired as of late. I believe it is our "HOT" weather but also all the other stuff involved. I get up with good intentions and soon I say all to hell with it. There's tomorrow, but that doesn't always work. There can be so many causes, medications for one and I have high blood pressure, plus sleep apnea that does not help. Who knows? take care Friend
Most likely because we struggle so much to breathe. But don't count out other issues, keep in contact with your doctors. It could be heart, blood pressure, thyroid, infection, among many other possibilities.
I am just learning of those now. In the process of finding out what is my cause.
@A MyCOPDTeam Member Thank you again for pertinent info! take care
