Has Anyone Been Diagnosed With Angina While Being On Oxygen For 8 Years , With COPD ?

My understanding of angina is that it is pain in the chest area caused by a limited blood supply to the heart. It can be a predictor of a heart attack. It can be caused by your heart pumping too hard to get the oxygen from your lungs. It definitely requires more than just a diagnosis. If it were me I would want further testing to discover the cause. There can be many reasons for angina (blockage caused by clots or hardening of the arteries, for example). Follow up with a cardiologist.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member If your cardiologist estimate you would benefit from a β-blockers, he should preferably, as you suffer from COPD, give you a cardioselective β-blockers, as they do not worsen pulmonary function. (this is a doctor who advise that to me once regarding my COPD). Hugs! 🦜
