@A MyCOPDTeam Member🙇‍♀️🙌 I’ve had lots of years to work on this. Trial and error. Only you can do you.

Thanks for this. I spend my time wishing my life away. Got to concentrate more on what I can do and not what I can't.😉

I use the inogen portable. They say it weighs 5 lbs but my 107 lb body says it is much heavier. I use a borrowed walker, put the machine in the basket and push away. Also when I get tired, can put the seat down and rest. I don’t need a walker for walking or balance, just for the convenience. Also do not get tired as quickly as I do when trying to carry the extra weight.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member🙇‍♀️🙌 Oh yes that’s right. We can change the course of our Health. Last year my Fev1 went from 24% to 28%
All of our organs need oxygen to thrive. I’m talking to the choir.
Anyone who has oxygen and isn’t sure about using it. Talk with your pulmonologist.
Ok sorry about the lecture.
God Bless you and Keep up your Exercises and walking.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member🙇‍♀️🙌 So I have to say that I’m absolutely grateful for this amazing Tool called oxygen,
I had a positive influence to help me just try it, my friend Wanda was the best kind of inspiration I could have had. She did everything with her oxygen on.
Without it not so much. She said just try it and see if it helps…
So I said ok… and I’ll never say a bad thing about it.
Yes I had to be on it 24/7 for a while, then I got started wanting to walk after my hip replacement 5/23/2020. Within a couple of weeks I was out walking with the tank in the carrying bag. Then I asked for a backpack at Lincare. I go through backpacks and shirts like crazy. T shirts. I walked to loose weight and now I walk to maintain my weight, which in turn makes breathing so much better. Yes I have rough days.
I am not going to be like the folks I have visited in the hospital who just give up and die.
I use the pulse when walking. It’s on 2 liters pulse. And I use it for absolutely everything outside working in my yard, flower bed, and when I’m exerting myself flipping my mattress. I want to live and breathe better.
I said all this to say “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
You have to ask yourself what it is you want? Quality of life comes with a price, it’s not an easy task, yet it’s so worth the effort to achieve it.
God Bless you and Breathe Easy
