How Do You Bathe/shower When You Can't Breathe?
@A MyCOPDTeam Member Yes DiannaTidwell I learned these tips from others on this site as I had the same issues with showering/bathing. The o2 and the Robe were the Best. I'm not in a chair, but I do have a Tub Grab Bar for getting out of the tub, Just in case lol!
Try sitting in a bath chair with the window open, take your ventolin before you shower, water not too hot, and slow and easy, hugs
Hi Sandy
The steam from a shower/bateh should help you as it shifts the mucus, don’t have the water too hot,
Take care

I'm not on oxygen yet, but still get major SOB. I have a walk in shower that I use just from my shoulders down using the adjustable level so I don't have to hold it. Not a hot shower because of the steam that I can't tolerate. I wash my hair in the kitchen sink using the hand sprayer. I can't tolerate my mouth and nose being under water. I like the Terry robe idea! I've been drying off while sitting on the toilet, then dressing there too
