My Bronchial Tubes Close Very Often Leaving Me Unable To Inhale And About To Pass Out From Lack Of Oxygen. What Is My Best Treatment Option?

A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭
Oakville, Ontario, Canada

I am using bronchial dilators that provide temporary relieve but have to use them every few hours. Is there another medication or treatment I should consider using. Thank you for any help.

Thanks Dominique. I saw my respirologist this week and explained everything to him. Don't think he knows what a Bronchospasm is but I told him the rescue inhaler he gave me does nothing to help. After a short discussion he prescribed the two rescue inhalers they gave me in the hospital emergency department. I am going to ask my family Dr. for a reference to another specialist. Think some of these people get their medical degrees from a box of cereal. Take care. Rick2

It sounds like you have been given rescue inhalers only. There are various meds available that are designed to be maintenance inhalers and they often do a very good job of reducing that bronchospasm problem. Ask about those.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member I think you have Bronchospams. You, of course, must take your Therapy prescribed: what is she ? Do you have Rescue inhalers too ? If you're not OK, you must consult a doctor! Cheers 😘

Oh, you consumed the spirits? I thought you were supposed to inhale them. No wonder I feel.....odd.
