I Seem To Have A Lot Of Gas. Is This A Symptom Of COPD ?have Others Experienced This Symptom? Thanks

@A MyCOPDTeam Member yes, thé fact that suffering from COPD make us breath not optimally (hypercapnia, hyperventilation, swallowing air,...) does impact the right function of diaphragm, stomac and intestin. To remediate to it, we should eat small meals 4-5 Times a day, instead of 3 Times a day, slowly, and taking Time to chew and digest. Relax breath easy, Hugs 😘

It can be quite embarrassing. I don’t mind that too much its when it seems to get trapped in certain parts of your body and causes a lot of pain .

There’s more room outside for it - ain’t no point in tryna hold it in n hurting oneself - later for embarrassment ( tho still eeek)

I too have an abundance of gas! I’ve always been kinda gassy but with COPD much, much more. My husband thinks it’s funny, it drives me crazy!!!
