ANYONE HAVE A LUNG TRANSPLANT? I Was Told I Needed One And It's A Big NO For Me. I'll Be 70.
This is Temple Lung in Philly. I can't imagine my doctor would offer it if it was available at my age. I'm obviously going to get several other opinions. Thank you for responding.
I have not had one, and don't know how I would react if offered one. Some folks in here have, but I guess they will step forward if they want to respond. I think it's a highly personal decision, and everyone will decide according to his own feelings. I wish you all the best whatever you decide.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member Did your pulmonologist informed you exhaustively with what an organ tranplant means, risks, adverts events? It's not a decision to take lightly, be informed+++ by thoracic surgeons first. Hugs !
