I'll tell you what is the best thing to get your airback when you run out of breath! You put your chin down, Breathe out 8 times as fast as you can. Come back up and you got your breath back guaranteed, it will work!

'Ve been trying for the last 2 years to get the zeppels. I'm right in the middle of getting them. I'm going in July 2nd to Colorado Springs to do the 6 minute walk and the A. B. G blood gasses. I'm always heard good things about these valves. I hope they don't make me worse😅

I had 5 Zepher valves installed in January. Not only did they not work, but they removed them 2 weeks ago.
They are going to try again in a month or so.

I had 2 zephyr valves put in last July (2023) and had them both removed in November 2023. They did not work for me and the end result is O2 24/7. I was not on oxygen prior to the valve surgery. Not real sure that they didn't make my condition worse. But I had to try.

There are several tests that you have to go through including CT, Blood gases, Petscan, (I can't remember all of them). But if everything is a go, you should definitely give them a try. They just didn't work for me, but I had to try.
