I was set up for the testing for the procedure but decided against it. You must be smoke free for at least 6 months and not all candidates qualify. Try a post on Facebook called "Life With Lung Valves". People that have had the procedure post their outcomes there. It doesn't take out particles from smoking but opens airways. Some have good results, some don't.

Hi Mary I’ve not had it but I know those that had this procedure had found a remarkable difference in there Breathing it removes the lungs of particles that smoking he’s damaged there is requirements like you must be smoking now.

Trying searching under “zephyr” and you should bring up a number of posts, listing success and failure rates by member name.

I put together a post about a year ago which said it had about a 33% success rate.
