HI. I Am Not On Oxygen But Need To Excersize.. I Tried An Oxy Concentrator To Keep My O2 Levels Up During Excersize. Anyone Else?

It's not unusual for people with COPD to need extra 02 to enable them to exercise at a degree of intensity that creates improvement. Use your oximeter when you exercise and see what setting your concentrator needs to be at to keep your 02 sats around 95. As you get stronger and increase your endurance you'll probably be able to increase the intensity of the exercise. That should all help you make both your heart and lungs respond more efficiently.

Hello, I've been told to turn my o2 up if I need to in order to exercise . So the extra o2 really helps me.

Hi Jean,
What is a oxy.Concentrator.????
In my days O2 came in cylinders and you attached a nasal cannula and breathing 2 Litres of O2 nasally.
