Dupixent is approved for use in moderate-to-severe eczema (atopic dermatitis), in moderate-to-severe asthma, in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis (sinus and nasal cavity swelling) and nasal polyps (growths on the sinuses), in eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), and for prurigo nodularis (a skin condition).

DUPIXENT is a prescription medicine used: to treat adults and children 6 months of age and older with moderate-to-severe eczema (atopic dermatitis or AD) that is not well controlled with prescription therapies used on the skin (topical), or who cannot use topical therapies.

DUPIXENT is a biologic. This means that it is a type of specialty medicine that is processed in the body differently than oral or
topical medications. Biologics are used to treat a variety of conditions, including chronic inflammatory diseases that affect
your immune system. To be effective and work in the body properly, most biologics are delivered by injection.

Thanks, @JimmySloverI just read it's being considered for people with COPD, and wonder if you know anything about that? @A MyCOPDTeam Member probably does so maybe she will see this and pop in tomorrow.

It's been approved for use with asthma, and theres some discussion that it may be appropriate for some people with COPD. I don't know the characteristics of the people for whom it might be appropriate yet. It will definitely be a subset of people with COPD and that group will be clearly defined.

Thanks @A MyCOPDTeam Member, it did list a certain type as you describe, but if you're someone it can help it may be another option.

So @A MyCOPDTeam Member and Jimmy it says it could be used to treat uncontrolled COPD and type 2 inflammation.
