Setting Up Oxygen At Home Is It Hard. How Often Are They Filled.
You are so knowledgeable Jean you are my go to for info
No it’s not hard they will bring you a concentrater for your home and then set you up on what they consider a portable oxygen that you carry with you when you out at least that’s the way they did it for me they will go over everything you
The most complicated part with oxygen in the home is, dealing with the hose ( oxygen tubing ) kinking, tangling up, knocking things over and getting caught up on things and furniture, at least that's my biggest hurdle! Oh! and one more thing people or pets standing on you life line...ETC........ The moral of the story is the Dreaded HOSE is the hardest thing! and you do get your own feet tangled in it!😂
It's not hard at all. You'll get an electric concentrator that plugs into the wall and you set it at the level that was prescribed for you. You'll probably get tanks for out and about. Those are more complicated, but ask the delivery guy to show you how to put the regulator on the tank and how to turn it on.
The tanks don't get filled in your home. Either the DME comes and takes the used tanks and leaves you full ones, or you take the empty tanks to them and pick up filled ones. You can work with your insurance company to see if they'll cover a POC for you. You need to be sure that if you really want a POC the one you choose will actually keep you saturated for everything from hard exercise to strilling through the mall. If it won't, you've just got a very expensive door stop.
