I got told by a doctor that when your back is sweaty it Is an indication that you may have a chest infection
I went to see this doctor when I was having breathing problems. He was sat in his chair asked me to lift my shirt up at the back and saw how sweaty it was and said you have an infection

That's interesting. I never heard that before. I do get sweaty when I'm short of breath, but usually around my hairline and armpits. Very similar to anxiety attacks.

That's a new on one me. I think it's very normal to become a little sweaty when you're sob; you're short of breath, so your heart works harder and you get sweaty from the exertion. Unless the doc saw chills along with the sweat, I think the mark was missed.
