How Does The Disease Progress?

I was diagnosed in 2019. How many people think that their COPD has gotten worse since diagnosis? If so, what differences have you noticed?

Usually the progression comes after an exacerbation. Getting sick is one of the things that results in deterioration, so it's pretty important to do everything you can to avoid getting sick.

A GP is good but for if you have breathing problems you need a Pulmonary specialist that is just my thoughts

I don’t know why they don’t warn us to do everything we can to not catch things. I had to learn the hard way. Now taking drastic measures to stay well. Has worked so far these last two years.

Stppped smoking in, diagnosed in 2009, exacerbations 2/3 times a year since.
I think it's getting worse because the exacerbations seem to be more frequent BUT, I'll just keep on keeping on!
Have a great day

True, but pulmos drop the occasional loop too. It was in a pulmo's office that I was given poor advice on how to use an inhaler. Nobody's perfect. Make use of all your health care team, along with researching and asking questions.
