Why Are My Steroids Not Helping?

I'm not sure whish steroids you're asking about. If you're asking about oral steroids that's one thing, if you're asking about inhaled steroids that's another. It may be that you don't respond to inhaled steroids or at least not to the one you're taking. You can experiment with steroids by themselves or you can try them in combination, usually with a bronchodilator that's a long acting beta agonist. Talk with your doc to be sure you know what you're taking and decide together how you're going to approach determining whether inhaled steroids make any difference for you.
