Why Is There So Much Suffering. Find Me A Answer Kish Tura
@A MyCOPDTeam Member I agree with @A MyCOPDTeam Member but perhaps you're questioning why there is so much suffering in this world. I'll share a poem I wrote in case my thought is correct.
"This earth is our garden of life
Such a shame there's so very much strife...
Among peoples and countries...
I pray it will end and we can enjoy peace
As this beautiful world mends."
God bless, hope you have a breathe ez day.
As always... in all ways... Narrowdog
I liked your honesty @A MyCOPDTeam Member when you say that you want Him to intervene and say that you are in charge. You are not and will never be in charge. We are all guided by someone higher than ourselves and all we have to do is listen to Him. I know that is easier said than done, but I happen to believe it. It's when I try to take charge that things go awry. Then I have to sit back and take stock of when it was I quit trusting that God will give me no more than I can handle. Unless you totally believe in God, this probably doesn't make much sense to you, but I do, as much as any human can trust in Him, and it gives me comfort.
I agree that @A MyCOPDTeam Member is a gem of a person. She certainly has her burdens to bear too but rarely complains or says anything about suffering. There are so many people that are suffering, and yes @A MyCOPDTeam Member is one. I know of 3 people who are friends--two on this site and 1 that was a member here years ago, that are suffering from cancer. So if we didn't have COPD (which all 3 of them do), we could be suffering a much worse fate, so I will take what I have and be happy for as many days as I have left. Phew, we sure do get into some heavy discussions don't we?!
I hope you have a very pleasant day today and things go well for you. Chris

Hi All ,
The best exercise indoor is just walking or walking on a spot and breathing through the nose.
Do it 6 x 10 minutes a day.
To make little harder, walk faster but maintain nasal breathing all the time.
To make it even harder walk and breathe hold for 3-5 seconds every minute or less, but maintain nasal breathing, slow down if you have but don’t over breath.Nice steady breathing, use the tummy muscles,Never deep breathing.
Increase pace and breath hold gradually,to make even harder but careful stages 3 and 4 .
That is endurance training.
We all have to breath .
Take it steady and good luck.
Kish Tura.

Why is there a disease called COPD in the first place? @A MyCOPDTeam Member, That's what I'd like to know. There are already enough diseases, they didn't have to add this one to the list. People have the choice of ways to live with COPD and each person is different and has a different way of doing things. You have told us what works for you, and we appreciate that. That is what this site is for, to share what works for us. I know I probably haven't answered your question to your satisfaction, but I don't think anyone really CAN answer that question.
