Ayr Saline Nasal Gel

A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭
Collierville, TN

Someone in here mentioned using Ayr saline nasal gel that they got from Amazon with good results. I've checked and found you can get it at Walmart, but would like to know if anyone else likes it before I try it.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member I only use the Gel as a Buffer from the Cannulas, Keeps them from irritating my Nostrils. I would get a Raw area. Since the gel I don't get that anymore and it's not all Goopy either..

@A MyCOPDTeam Member🙇‍♀️🙌 I have been using Ayr gel for quite some time now. It has a way of softening the nasal passages especially from the oxygen. Helps keep them moist so they aren’t as brittle and don’t bleed so easily.

I’ve used similar products, Ocean, Simply Saline, etc., and while not gel-based, they all help a lot to relieve the dryness that can come with nasal cannula use.

Give it a try, @A MyCOPDTeam Member. Good luck.

Thanks, everyone, for your helpful answers. I think I misunderstood. I thought it would help open up nasal passages. I see it's for dryness, but I may be using it in the future. Appreciate the help.
