Many things can "cause" sweating and getting it under control can be elusive. The triggers can range from hormones to medications we take. And sone foods in between. 🌶️ Could also be a sign of infection staring up which WE must always be cautious about.

But understand the basics. Sweating is the body's way of controlling our "temperature" - inside and out. Like a thermostat. And sweating also involves losing a lot of fluid. Usually not good for US.

The best first defense is to stay Hydrated and see you Doc if this article doesn't give you more clues about your situation:

Hi @A MyCOPDTeam Member!
I have had that problem for a while. I had to have a complete hysterectomy, due to health reason, in 2006. I’m on HRT.
I have noticed I get night sweats every night around 11pm and that I sweat a lot more easily these days than I used to. But as others have said- sweating is a natural body response. I asked my gynecologist about that very issue at my annual check up. She recommended a medication called Veozah (fezolinetant) but
I am reluctant to add one more pill to my daily stock pile! I’d rather sweat! She said there is another more natural pill for night sweats, but it contains something in it related to bee venom(sting) and I am extremely allergic to bee/wasp stings! (Possible anaphylaxis) so I’m not coming near that one!
Check with your doctor and see what they say…??
It’s common with older women post, pre-menopause. We’re just more complex- like a fine wine!
Medications can cause sweating too.
Thank goodness for AC, small fans and good deodorants !! 😁
Good luck friend! 🥵

If you sweat, there's not anything you can do about it that I know of except to sit and don't do anything and that's not good for us. So get out there and sweat; use lots of deodorant and take lots of showers.😀 You could talk with your doc; they might have some suggestions.

Yes and it’s awful. I wish I had an answer as to what to do about if there is anything. Another question for the doctor.
