I was told by my pulmonologist and opthalmologist that inhalers do not have the systemic effects that the pills do. Plus I think you need to be on the pills for an extended period of time to cause glaucoma.

I have Glaucoma in my right eye and iy I'm steriods. my Eye dr said, Breathing over comes the glaucoma.

I am on inhalers and my glaucoma is ok let's hope it stays that way.

I have a friend with glaucoma and PCP gave her on an inhaler with a steroid in it and the ophthalmologist took her off it immediately saying it will make her glaucoma worse which can lead to blindness. She does not have COPD but other problems causing SOB and coughing.
