Has Anyone Had A Tooth Extraction While Having Copd, Heart Disease And High Blood Presure
Just wandering if its safe
I just had a eye operation and it was fine , I wouldn`t worry to much .. just let them know all about you first .. and as always .. if you don`t feel comfortable go to someone else until you do .. you are paying them , they are not paying you ..lol..
Getting a tooth taken out is never fun, and having COPD can add a few more twists to the process. Talk with your pulmonologist or someone in his office and ask if there is anything they'd recommend you do, like getting an antibiotic to take just to ensure you don't get an infection that could go south. If you use O2, you'll want to be sure they know about that and are comfortable with it. If necessary, let your pulmo and the person doing the extraction talk about your situation and what you'll need. It's safe to do, but you're wise to talk with your pulmo before it's done.
better to check with your primary care if its infected you will need antibiotics ist
I have had tooth extractions & gum surgery & haven’t had any issues
Thankyou
