Hey everyone you will still get bubbles testing the cannula in water with or without an improperly sealed lid , that said we should do 3 things to insure that the lid is 100% fully sealed , turn off TV , stereo all noise and listen to the air flowing out of the cannula , visibly look at how much the humidifier bubbles when it is perfectly sealed , listen and feel around the edges of the bottle , there should be zero moisture present , you can also submerse the bottle in a container of water that goes 1/4 inch above bottom side of the lid and there should be zero bubbles , it is very easy to think it is sealed when it indeed is not . Having a humidifier bottle of water should not reduce the air flow if the lid is sealed , i have been faked into thinking mine was properly sealed when it was not on numerous occasions over the years . Happy Easter .

You're adding more water with the Humidifier. Same as a more Humid Climate will lower your o2. Turn up the Concentrator to compensate

Hi all. I also sometimes realised that the oxygen was not coming through, then realised that the lid wasn't screwed on properly. Now when I refill, I check to see if the oxygen is flowing through, by putting it against my lip to feel the air. Works for me.

I always double check my lid. Then see if air is coming out of the cannula. I always checked for bubbles too until one time there was no air coming out of the concentrator even with bubbles. I don’t know if it was a fluke that time but I still check the cannula.

I used to have the same problem so I took the bottle off n n just put my tubing directly to the machine. It’s helped me more.
