I Have A Crackling Sound In My Throat!
I became very short of breath and started hearing a popping, bubbly sound in my throat My throat does not hurt, I have no swelling issues but shortness of breath is severe. I have been 3 rounds of antibotics, predisone, nothing. Has anyone had this before?

Call your doc. The sob is your real concern; the crackling may sound like it's in your throat, but my guess is it's in the upper respiratory tract. You need to address the sob issue immediately. If you don't have a pulmonologist, get one. Ask for a culture to be done on what you're coughing up so they get the right antibiotic to treat your bug. If you need to, go to the ER to be seen by a pulmonologist and do it today.
