So new information is out about the vaccine. If you have allergies that cause anifalaxis don't take the vaccine by Pfizer. Wait for the next one. Also even if you have had covid and recovered, you still need the vaccine because immunity only lasts for a few months after you had the virus. Breathe easy and Merry Christmas/ Happy Hannukah.

Scooby-Doo,I just had dose One of the vaccine. I know that I mentioned to you that I was unsure about getting at first. However two of my doctors recommended that I get it. So me and four other fellow employees got the first dose. So far, I am doing okay with it. Thank Godo.

I asked my lung specialist he said I should get it but unfortunately it won’t be ready for us until about the middle of February but this way I will know if there’s any side effects for people who have underlying problems.
I’m still not sure about getting the vaccination.

So just to be transparent, day after the first Moderna shot and my arm has an ouchie. 😪Hubby has a sore arm too. I have a head ache he doesn't. He says the flu vaccine is much worse. I am also in a colitis flare so that might explain the headache. So I will continue to urge everyone to go for it. Also was interviewed by the local news station afterward. My advice was don't let fear keep you from saving your own life.

I will be glad and grateful to take the vaccine as soon as it is offered to me. By the time it gets to me we will know more about it, but I am anxious to get any bit of immunity from this dreadful virus. We KNOW its deadly.......the vaccine is a small risk for a big tradeoff in my o[inion. I will of course check with my pulmonologist on my next visit, but since I don't have any allergies, he will probably encourage me to get it asap. He strongly recommended the new Pneumonia vaccine and flu shot for seniors so I imagine he will recommend this too. He has stressed how important is is for me to be careful to avoid people, wear a mask and wash my hands and use sanitizer. I am ready for it!
