Most definitely, I have it, and yes I developed Pulmonary Hypertension and this started the retention of fluid even while I am already on a diuretic that removes excess fluid.

It's possible that COPD can cause some fluid retention. It's also possible that you may have any one of a number of diferent reasons for fluid retention. Talk with your doc and get it checked out. Sometimes meds are called for, other times, things like exercise and salt consumption can make a big difference. COPD's one of probably fifty different conditions that could cause fluid retention. Get checked for the basic ones.

You need to keep moving, and alert your medical care team about your challenges. They can help you find the cause, and can prescribe or change your medications to try and alleviate some of the health risks, @A MyCOPDTeam Member.

*** IMPORTANT ***
Not a medical professional, but edema in the feet and legs can point to a larger issue with your lungs, your heart or both.
