Trimbow 87/5/9 & Ventolin Together.

A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi
I have been put onto Trimbow inhaler, which replaces my Spirvia and Sertide(?)
I take both twice a day regularly.
Can you please advise which I should take 1st.
I thought it was Trimbow 1st, but a friend saw me do this and said you must take Ventolin 1st.
Any ideas?
Gill

Hi I’m also on Trimbow and was told it’s the best one I take 2 puffs of this as soon as I get up so I take mine first I’m also on slow phelan I take I 125mg twice a day morning and night and have had lung reduction surgery in July of this year
I would like to no if there’s anyone else on here that’s had this done and how long it took them to get over it
I suffer with COPD/ Emphysema that’s why I haven’t been on here for so long

Iv been on Trimbow for a long time and always taken it first thing in the morning and then at night up until recently
I am still riveting from pneumonia respiratory failure and covid and trying 4 puff 4 times a day at the moment in stead of the recommended dies of two twice daily
Really not sure if I’m doing wrong but it’s certainly helping me to breath
After I take my salbutamol nebulizer
That how they were giving it to me in hospital also
In all the yrs I have been using Trimbo I only take Ventolin if I needed it so, in my opinion and it’s only my opinion why would we have to take preventative first if we don’t need to take our rescue spray

I really like the spacer.
It is so much easier. You know when you have to breath out, then puff and suck?
Well I can’t do that. It just brings on a coughing fit. With the spacer I find it so much easier. Keep trying my friend , and let me no how you get on.
