All of these answers are so useful. My ex pulmonologist told me it was fluid on my lungs and it would go away. She forgot I had just gotten out of the hospital and had endured every test imaginable. Mine comes and goes. I take a couple Tums which seems to help but be careful how you cough. A hard cough hurts everywhere but a soft slow cough does the job just takes longer.
