I am also having problems with sinus and trying to bring up phlegm I seem to have a blockage when I cough which blocks my throat I can’t breathe turn purple and have flashing lights in my eyes. I have had these symptoms since having pneumonia in December I have been on oxygen 15hrs daily for over a year since having four lots of antibiotics my lungs seem clear and my o2 levels are 91 on air
Since having the sinus/blockage I am unable to use the oxygen but am unable to sit up straight or lay down as I brings on a coughing fit. Can envy one help

Lots of water, mucnex, NAC if necessary. Also the aerobika or acapella devices or things like that. Postural drainage and gentle hitting of the back work.

VB I always think I am in the worse shape until I see what others are sharing. While my compassions go out to you deeply, I will never be able to experience exactly what you must be going through. I am so sorry. If I was in this place, I would check with the pharmacist first; they know the most about drug reactions. You can also try to google, or have someone do it for you, some of the difficulties you are having. Then share your results with a doc. It is shameful, but today, we have to do our own work and still yet pay a doc for whatever it is they do. No longer are we patients; we are numbers to be seen in 10 to 15 min.

My pulmmanary nurse recommended my drinking water to be at room tempriture and not from the fridge and i must say using a drinking straw i tend to drink more water

Tussin is the best for me. However, my problem is the opposite. Nothing comes up often enough.
