Breo Ellipta 200/25.Does Anyone Use This And Is It Alright To Take When You Have Copd
Was wondering if anyone with COPD uses Breo ellipta 200/25.I was prescribed it and read on website that it cannot be used for COPD.
angie105 You must remember copd is a name for a disease that has many causes and effects. A drug may work well for one person and not as well for someone else and this is because of the different causes and effects of copd. You doctor has obviously studied your effects or symptoms and came to the conclusion Breo may work best for you. You could be making a mistake not taking the help offered by using Breo. Some medications are recommended for bronchitis and not copd but with further reading you may find bronchitis can be including under the umbrella name copd.
Breo is fine for COPD. What website said it wasn't used for COPD? It'll be a surprise to a lot of top pulmonary docs who prescribe it regularly.
my doctor gave me samples of Breo and it didn't work for me. My pulmonologits,(however it's spelt) hell my lung doctor put me on Inspiolto Repimat and it seems to work better with my copd
@A MyCOPDTeam Member If your Doctor - pulmonary people prescribed the Breo then it is safe to use. In time you will encounter these statements and in some ways all they do is confuse us. Ask the Doctor if it is as I suspect you should be fine with it follow the instructions !
I just checked the Glaxo Smith Kline (they manufacture Breo) website and copied the paperwork on Breo: https://www.gsksource.com/pharma/content/dam/Gl...
At no point in the 50 plus pages does it say that the 50/250 isn't appropriate for COPD, in fact it says specifically that it comes in two doses and your pulmonologist will determine which is right for you. Whatever you saw is not from the horse's mouth!
