I keep reading that the best exercise is do just go for a walk. Start slow, build up to more distance. Do a little everyday.

Walk as much as you can . If you cannot walk outside your home , walk around inside. I walk from my patio door to the dining room and around the table, then to the front door and back at least 10 times a day if I can not get out and walk. I also have one of the small pedal pushers and can exercise my legs while I sit and watch TV , and then reverse it and use it to strengthen my arms. Everything helps. You do not need weights, use cans of soup or veggies and do arm exercises . You CAN do it .

Walking is very good and swimming is another. Start slow on both and build up slowly as you go.
