Oxygen Tubing Travel Concentrator

A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I recently acquired an AirSep Focus. We are still getting used to each other.

Wearing this with the shoulder strap, I have a lot of extra tubing and, here is my question: Would there be an issue or problem cutting the tubing shorter so that I don't have a massive trail or a rolled coil hanging?

There is no reason that you can't make the tubing as short as it is comfortable for you, as you will still receive the same amount of oxygen. Just masks sure you have a length that accommodates all of your activities.

Sorry im late at answering. I was going tot do it my self as I have an inogen machine. Tha cannula is to long. My doctor said it wouldnt hurt but he looked at my machine and under one of the straps there was velcro just for that. He sais normally theres a place for the extra cannula.

I now have Six at the house. I ordered a package of Five for another unit I had and when I bought the AirSep they gave me one, so I have plenty at the moment but when I need more I will certainly go to the link you posted. Thank you so very much!

It won't hurt anything. You can order cannula is 4 and 7 foot lengths. Those usually work for most folks and occasionally you want the extra length.
