I am so use to dealing with copd, I have almost become numb to symptoms or think all symptoms or from copd, today I went to a cardiologist, even though my heart has never been a issue, But because of my copd, they thought it would be good for me to start going to a cardiologist, and so I have, I know this may be minor thing, but I found out something I did not know, I have a leakage - I think the valve? went to therapy..put 30 ft of wrapping on legs and ankles to swueeze fluid out..will know couple appts plus keep moving feet and bending legs..gravity pushing liquid down. of course keep take water pills

I guess there is medication you can take for it as well. they will know more after looking at it, you can look at it as well, is truly fascinating.

Don't know anything about the leaky valve but the echocardiagram is much like a sonogram they do on pregnant women. No nasty chemicals or radiation.

Hi Joan. I am new to the group. An echocardiogram is nothing more than an ultrasound. No need to worry about that. I however know nothing about leaking valves
