It is strange, I have had it where i hardly felt it, and have it be the worst pain!! Just ask for the best vampire they have! That usually works getting a good one! It is the only was the can test the actual oxygen in your blood is what I have been told! Mine was so low at one time my fingernails were blue! I had way to much carbon dioxide in my blood from smoking. I think that is right! I was a mess!

Yes and during a breathing test they will prick your finger and test your blood for oxygen level When you breath , oxygen goes into your lung and is dispersed throughout your body through your blood. If your COPD has caused your lung function to block this capability to any degree that prohibits low oxygen in your blood, it can and does affect your overall performance.
